Gopher: Underground Technology
I almost cry when I saw GOPHER on Wired today... I mean, I hadn't heard about this technology since I first started surfing 10 years ago... Oops! Did I just get discovered? ;)

I just find it amusing how this needs to happen:
"Another of his motivations is preserving the history of the Internet." I mean... a decade has passed (give or take) since the inception of Gopher, and we're already needing to save it from being wiped from history books. Now THAT'S speed!!! :D
